Been riding quite a bit, out on my Kona Zing or Giant TCR. Sold the retro GT, and still have the Rocky Mountain Hammer, which I use to commute to work or short trips to the post office. It might be a tad large for me, but I still love riding it! It's a steel bike, but doesn't feel heavy when climbing hills!
As for the Giant TCR, I used it last weekend at the Pt. Grey Triathlon and it worked nicely. For being a light bike though, I feel as though I can't ride it faster as compared to the Zing.
The Kona Zing Supreme has been my go-to training bike nowadays. Unfortunately on one of my previous rides, I got a sidewall flat on the rear tire and thus, had to discard the rear orange tire. Now it's mismatched, and I've been too lazy to switch the front to a black matching tire. I have switched to a shorter (80mm) stem, and I've got a Shimano Ultegra 11-28t cassette on the way. That should really help me with the climbs on the Gran Fondo Whistler ride coming up!
As for new bikes? I did pick up an old Giant Rincon SE, but that's for a friend who intends to use it around the seawall. It was cheaper than renting a bike.
