Hello Bloggers!

Hope everyone had a spectacular summer, and got some riding in! I know I did! This fall weather came too soon in my opinion. Back to the regular grind, but going to continue commuting by bike as much as possible. Besides, Bike to Work Week is coming up at the end of the month!

Onto the bikes. The small blue bike below was finally sold to a lovely young lady, and she is enjoying it!

On my personal bikes, I finished off another 'project'. This was an old GT Arrowhead mountain bike. Nothing fancy at all, but it was in decent condition when I got it. I decided to turn it into a single-speed, and upgraded all the components. RaceFace bottom bracket & crank, Raceface seatpost, Raceface handlebars & grips, Bontrager saddle, Animal Pedals, Origin8 single-speed kit, KMC white chain, Tektro Canti brakes, and Avid 7 brake levers. In the end, yes, it did cost me a pretty penny for those parts, but I enjoyed assembling it. This will be one of my 'coffee' bikes, where I'll ride it to the coffee shop. (cafe racer?)
